SAMJIN Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) processes personal information safely and transparently in accordance with Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws.
Effective date: July 10, 2026
Purpose, Items and Retention
The Company collects this information through website forms. You may decline to provide required information, but the inquiry or report cannot then be submitted.
To block automated or repeated submissions, the Company also stores a one-way hash of the visitor’s IP address for up to 10 minutes. This value is not stored together with the inquiry or report content and is deleted automatically once the period passes.
Third-party Provision and Processing
The Company does not provide personal information collected through inquiry or report forms to third parties. If disclosure is required by law or separately consented to, the recipient, purpose, items and retention period will be disclosed in advance. Any processing contractor will be disclosed through this policy.
Destruction Procedure and Method
Personal information is destroyed without delay when its retention period expires or its purpose is achieved. Information that must be retained by law is separated for the statutory period, and electronic files are deleted in a manner designed to prevent recovery.
Automatic Collection Devices (Cookies)
The Company uses cookies to compile visit statistics and news-view counts. A visitor cookie (to_vid) stores a randomly generated value for one year and a daily cookie (to_day) stores the visit date for two days; neither holds personal information such as a name or contact details, nor the addresses of the pages viewed. A per-post cookie (nv_postID) prevents duplicate news-view counts and expires after 6 hours. You may block or delete cookies in your browser; doing so does not affect your use of this website.
External Services
The Contact page embeds Google Maps. Technical information such as an IP address and browser information may be sent to the provider when the map loads and is handled under Google’s privacy policy. Information entered in inquiry or report forms is not sent to the map service.
Your Rights and How to Exercise Them
You may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing or withdrawal of consent for your personal information. Contact the department below by phone or e-mail; requests are handled after identity verification and in accordance with applicable law.
Security Measures
The Company limits access to personnel who need it for their work, stores administrator credentials in hashed form and blocks direct web access to personal-information files, together with other technical and organizational safeguards.
Privacy Contact and Complaints
For privacy consultation or remedies, you may contact the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (1833-6972), Privacy Infringement Report Center (118), Prosecution Service (1301), or National Police Agency (182).
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes because of legal or service updates, the changes and effective date will be announced on this website.
